Phase 3, Week 2 - DONE

Whew! I love love love love looooooooooooove the new workout that is in the mix - Back and Biceps. It's super fun, because I love using weights, but also I am madly in love with Timmy. Sorry, Daniel - this guy is crazy gorgeous. Anyway, I really enjoyed adding a new one and mixing up the order a bit. This phase is way different in that it's 5 weeks and the lineup is different every other week. I like it. I even had to write out a calendar to keep myself straight so I know which workouts to do and when. It's going well! Not with the food so much (ugh) but I am really pushing myself on the workouts and it feels great!

Phase 3 Has Begun

Well, I took my pics and measurements and started to get them ready to upload and... I see no diff. I am just so not photogenic. I KNOW my arms and abs are way more sculpted than they were but it doesn't really come across in the pics. My measurements are pretty much the same. My chest went down about an inch, and my arms went UP half an inch each, but I am getting so much definition in them that I love it.

Mostly I just can't stop eating! UGH! Oh, well. My main goal was just proving to myself I could do this. Now I am so close to being done and I WILL do it. When I first started, my one and only problem area as far as the schedule is coming up this weekend - I am going to Vegas! It really didn't turn out to be a problem. I am just going to have Saturday as my day off and do the Saturday workout on Friday. Problem solved. We will see just how bad I am in Vegas, tho...

Week 7 - Day 3

Well, I am on my way to finishing my 7th week and I am getting kind of discouraged. I am REALLY having a bad time with the eating part. This time of year is always bad for me. A year ago last week I was at my lowest weight, which is about 15 pounds lower than I am now. Then I just lost it and went a little nuts for a few months. I ended the year in bad shape and have been on a yo-yo so far this year. I really thought doing P90X would get me back on track but it really doesn't seem to be working. I will be super amazingly good during the week and then the weekends just blow me out of the water. This past holiday weekend I was particularly awful. So, I am still plugging away but my hopes are diminishing that I will see any actual progress next week at the end of month 2.

Tonight was my third shot at the chest session. I still hate it. I am totally worthless at pushups. I don't see to be getting any better. *sigh* I won't give up tho!
